Nasemna's Religion
Nasemna is the Lensmoorian Goddess of Sin. Her faith is evil-aligned. The high clergy of the Dark Queen can be seen wearing Her dagger within a seven-pointed star pendant. Her clergy wear the seven-pointed star alone, and all others the jeweled dagger. The dagger is the object by which Nasemna obtained Her divinity, and the star representative of Her seven sins. Nasemna cultivates the black baccara rose in Her gardens, and wherever it grows one can be certain that Her followers have impacted the area in some way.
Nasemna claimed for Herself two titles upon Her descent to Divinity. First is the Dark Queen, which She claims by right of rule over the Moonlit Bluffs. The second, Empress of the Seven Stars, is the official title She wishes to be known as when referring to Herself as the Goddess of Sin. It is also a not-so-subtle reference to the Seven Stars Casino and Resort area within the Moonlit Bluffs; its presence is a direct result of the Goddess's influence in the region.
The Dark Queen's favored weapon is the cat-o-nine-tails style whip with its long, barbed tails. In Her off hand, She chooses to wield a kris, drawing upon its curved blade to help direct energy away from Her. Enchantments on the blade also allow Her to draw strength from the blood of sacrifices to aid Her own casting. She is clad in luxurious cloaks and sumptuous jewels, reflective of the excess that Her sins represent. She accents everything with black star sapphires, the seven-pointed stars inside making them a perfect jewel to represent Her domain.
The Goddess has an enormous temple located in Moonlit Bluffs, south of New Lensmoor along the Southern Highway. The temple itself, known as the Black Cathedral, once belonged to Brigitte, Goddess of Nightmare and Shadows. When the Goddess Nasemna arrived in the world, She saw that though Brigitte was gone, the evil within the temple remained. She drew upon it to uproot the temple from the forest it had been within and place it along the Lensmoorian coast near to Gosport. A village soon grew up outside the temple grounds between the temple and Gosport called Crescent Point.
If the Dark Queen considers you worthy, you can find Her on Her throne in the Chamber of the Seven Sins within the Black Cathedral.
Those who seek the favor of the Goddess without joining Her faith can try to become a Sinful One; membership in this order is also available to those who are part of the Goddess's religion.

Background
Legend goes that in ancient times, a long and formidible battle raged across the heavens. Immortals commanded large armies of angels and demons, shaking the heavens and the earth with the might of their war. Among that angelic host was Nasemna. Tasked with healing the injured, she worked dutifully across the battlefields. One day, she came across an injured angel whose wounds had been made with a curious jeweled dagger. Despite her best efforts, the wounded angel died from his injuries. Nasemna took the dagger home to study it further.
Others of Nasemna's legion noticed the changes slowly. Possessed of an unreasonable desire to understand the dagger, Nasemna's attitude shifted. She became convinced that within its construction lie the answers to winning the war and saving her friends. She started sleeping with it under her pillow to keep it close. As she slept, it whispered to her promises of great knowledge and deeper understanding.
This continued for awhile until one fateful morning. After several nights of fitful sleep, the crazed angel awoke to find two small horns atop her head. Her pale skin had turned an ashen grey. She closed her hand around the hilt of the dagger, and a voice whispered to her mind:
“Deny your vices no longer. Within them is the power you seek.”
Nasemna understood, finally. The answer she sought was wrapped up in the vices she had so carefully avoided. A wicked smile curved Her lips. As She accepted this understanding as truth, Divinity coursed through Her veins. She became the immortal embodiment of Sin, encouraging others to do as She has done and cast off the fetters that would hold them back.
Personality
Nasemna derives extreme pleasure from toying with mortals. Once among the angelic host, She has come to understand that the Light is weak, and treats it with extreme disdain.
As the immortal embodiment of Sin, She is used to getting what She wants. She gives Her following a fair amount of free will, but demands action from Her faithful to fully embrace and develop Her Seven Sins in the world.
She will often come across as calm, but make no mistake. This is the Dark Queen, the Malevolent Empress. Do not cross Her, for Her wrath will be swift.
